My Work
JanKaNoon is a storytelling-based legal awareness initiative designed to simplify everyday legal rights for students and everyday citizens. The project utilizes a combination of real-life incidents, simplified legal breakdowns, and relatable formats to educate individuals on how to respond to common legal situations without fear or confusion.
Objective
To create an accessible platform that bridges the gap between everyday people and their legal rights through engaging content, real-world scenarios, and emotionally resonant storytelling.
Problem
Most people, especially youth and lower-income groups, are unaware of their basic rights when facing common legal situations like:
-
Harassment or bribery by public officials
-
Tenant or employer disputes
-
Cybercrime or data privacy issues
-
Police interaction without FIRs or due process
This ignorance leads to fear, silence, or exploitation.

Solution
A content-driven legal awareness system delivered through:
-
Storytelling Videos & Reels
Realistic role-play of common scenarios (e.g., police stopping a biker without a reason). -
Infographics & Quizzes
Easy-to-digest guides about what you can and should do in legal situations. -
Case-based Learning Modules
Based on actual incidents, simplified for student learning. -
Interactive Activities
Quizzes, polls, and simulated decisions to test awareness and build confidence.
