My Work
VotePrint is a fingerprint-based electronic voting system designed to ensure secure, tamper-proof elections using biometric authentication. By replacing traditional voter IDs and manual verification with fingerprint scans, VotePrint enhances transparency, prevents identity fraud, and makes the voting process faster and more accessible.
Objective
To build a secure, user-friendly, and fraud-resistant voting system using biometric data ensuring that one person votes only once, and their identity is verified instantly without paperwork.
Problem
-
Manual voter ID checks are slow and error-prone
-
Duplicate voting and impersonation are common issues
-
Rural and uneducated voters struggle with paperwork
-
Lack of real-time tracking or tamper detection in many systems

Solution
A fingerprint-enabled voting system that:
-
Authenticates users using biometric data (fingerprint scan)
-
Logs each vote securely in a database
-
Prevents duplicate entries using voter fingerprint uniqueness
-
Optionally integrates with Aadhaar or national ID systems
-
Can be deployed via standalone machines or connected devices
